donations
For 10 years we were able to provide free education. Increasing budget pressure has forced us to collect a contribution of ZAR 4 - ZAR 10/day (EUR 0.2-0.50) for each learner. This inevitably disadvantages some households. Please help us to reduce this amount through your donation.
Donate to support young people:

We are a leading provider of entrepreneurship education and skills training programmes from primary school to post-school level.
Ithuba’s mission is to develop and provide quality school education, skills and entrepreneurship education programmes for disadvantaged youth. We achieve this in dialogue with local communities through and at our two schools, skills and community centres based on international experience – at the Ithuba Community Colleges.
70% of young people in South Africa are unemployed. This is not their failure but a result of historically shaped inequality which manifests itself in under-resourced schools and limited access to a quality vocational training (TVET) or higher education.
While quality education alone does not allow young people to move out of poverty it gives them a higher chance to better their own and their families lives. We seek to enable young people to expand their freedoms through quality education. By sharing our approach and our programmes with the South African public education system and well as non-profit education providers we support the development of quality education on a national level.
Ithuba Community Colleges are located in Katlehong (Gauteng) and Mzamba/Alfred Nzo (Eastern Cape). Our programmes are developed in partnership with experts of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and combine local and international experience.
